✱✱ Book Review ✱✱ Love Makes a Family by Van Cole

Today has been a day for quick reads and Van Cole's newest release, Love Makes a Family, fit right in with its feel-good story.

He Sits On A Family Fortune But Will Give It All Up For True Love

When spoiled rich kid Finn meets fellow student Jake, it doesn’t seem the pair have much in common.

Inexplicably, they become friends and then, maybe something a little more besides.

Or do they? Because Finn is never sure where Jacob’s feelings lie.

The arrival of Finn’s orphaned Goddaughter confuses things still further.

Unsure of his suitability to parent, Finn plans to tell social services that he can’t adopt the child.

However, somehow the authorities get the impression that the pair are a stable couple willing to adopt!

This is news to Finn’s homophobic father, who is horrified to find his son engaged to a man!

Still unsure of Jake’s feelings towards him, Finn must decide whether to stay with him or marry the girl his father has chosen for him.

Will Finn and Jacob stay together or will Finn’s scheming father find some way of splitting them up for good?

Love Makes a Family is available on Amazon and is listed in Kindle Unlimited

Momma Says: 4 out 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

Van Cole is a great go-to author for a quick, light-hearted read. The ending on this one is a bit rushed, but the story is still quite fun. With some silly situations, a sweet little girl, and a couple of interesting pets, and a social worker popping in and out, Jake and Finn have a less than normal start to their relationship. Oh, and what new relationship doesn't need a fiance chosen by a domineering father. All of this combines to make for a quick, fun read that's just the right length to finish in one sitting.
