✱✱ Book Review ✱✱ Wrecked by Lucy Wild

There's something to be said for a quick and naughty read, and Lucy Wild's latest short story, Wrecked, certainly fits the bill.

I fell out of my boat and into his arms...

Joy: I almost drowned when my kayak capsized, sending me plunging into the icy cold water. It was worth it when a handsome stranger rescued me, especially when I find out how badly he wants me.

The way he looks at me, the hunger in his eyes when we sit together on his island, my body is melting with desire for him- but does he just want a quick fling?

Rich: I didn't have a choice when I saw her drowning. I had to rescue her. Now she's here, I'm not letting her go any time soon. I'll do whatever it takes to make her mine.

But will she still want me when she learns the truth about who I really am?

I am enjoying these quick, sexy reads from Lucy Wild. Wrecked is certainly insta lust and love and has just a tiny bit of angst to keep the story moving. The characters are likable and the story is easily read in an hour or less, making it perfect for a quick bedtime read. I particularly like that the story doesn't just end with the usual proclamation of undying love and nothing else, but Wild gives us a peek into the not so distant future to see where the couple is going. This pair is scorching hot together and while this isn't my favorite book from this author, it is still a fun, sexy read and I look forward to the next one.
