Did the Goddesses hate Jessie, or were they this cruel to everyone? Hell hath no fury like a She Bear scorned...
Jessie Aston felt trapped and left in the dark after discovering who her mate is. Granted, he was the Prez of a rival MC, but she didn’t care about clubhouse politics. All she wanted was to be close to her mate, to know more about the man who calls himself Spyder. As Jessie tries to run from the stigma that the clubhouse has placed on her, she will do whatever it takes to prove herself to the Clan, her family, and her human mate.
Desperate to save his brother’s life, Spyder sought an alliance with a rival MC, The Nomads. He came for their help, but found so much more in the mysterious Jessie. He needed to focus on saving his brother, but he'd never been drawn to a woman like this before. He soon discovers that he and The Nomads have a common enemy, but is that enough? As Spyder is thrown into the world of Bear Shifters and revenge, he’ll not only learn what it really means to be mated to a She Bear, but also the truth about this MC’s dark past.
The future of the MC hangs in the balance.

Momma Says: 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We met Jessie's mate, Spyder, in the last installment of the MC Bear Mates series, but only briefly. We get lots more of him in this one, and I have to say that he's one of my favorite characters in the series. I didn't care much for Jessie in the last book. She came across as petty and jealous, but the deeper look into her as she learns what being a fated mate really means did quite well at endearing her to me.
This seventh book in the series is everything I've come to expect from Becca Fanning's bears and then some. In addition to trouble in the form of a past rival, it's packed full of the politics a clan faces while hiding behind the ruse of an MC, plus plenty of action, some suspense, family loyalty, and of course, the kind of steam and romance that only comes with a fated mate.
