The Rebound is the perfect title for this second chance romance. As expected from this author, the book is beautifully written and compelling. It is angsty with so much misunderstanding laying between Yardley and Nevada, but there's no denying the chemistry between them - even when they refuse to admit it. I did get frustrated with Nevada and his refusal to hear an explanation from Yardley, but at the same time, I could understand his feelings. These two have certainly seen their share of trouble and I was completely caught up in their journey back to each other. In the end, this is more than just a second chance romance. It's a story about love, loss, heartbreak, and finding love again in spite of all the curve balls life throws at you.
