Another witty and entertaining romance in the Cray's Quarry series! This second book gives us Karl and his best friend, Burns, and they are a wonderful combination of sweet and comical. I loved Karl and his inability to keep his opinions to himself, no matter where he is or who he may be talking to, and Burns is just so sweet that you want to hug him and tell him everything will be okay. This pair tiptoes around each other almost to the point of missing their chance at romance, but they are so good together. We also get a few peeks at the so serious Simon from book one and the rest of the game night friends. The whole story is the perfect blend of sweet and sexy, and just the right amount of angst with funny. I'll be anxiously awaiting whatever is next for the friends of Cray's Quarry.
