Momma Says: 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tears! Great. Big. Tears. And not just sad cries, but happy ones too. Oh, and laughs. Yes, the emotions run the gamut in this one. Let me just say that I'm not usually fond of angst; reality provides quite enough of that. But this beautifully written page-turner had me hooked from the first page. It didn't take long for me to figure out where the story was headed, or at least where I thought it was headed, and a couple of times I had to stop reading to have a good cry, but Owen and Elle got their hooks me in and didn't let go, so it didn't take long for me to pick it right back up. This love story was so compelling that I absolutely had to keep going, I had to see this Alternate Ending. I'm pretty sure I felt every emotion right along with this couple. I laughed at the witty banter. I got mad and wanted to shake one or both of them a few times. I felt their joy, their grief, their fear, and their hope. All I can say is have the tissues ready and settle in because this is certainly a must read and one that I won't soon forget.
