Doppelbanger; A person who bangs someone solely because they
look similar to another person they want to bang.
At thirty-five, Gina Bourque is still playing the field. If
he’s single, in his early twenties with dark hair and brooding eyes, there’s a
damn good chance you’ll find him in her little black book.
Jeffrey Ryan never imagined that at nearly forty he’d find
himself widowed and a single dad. But here he is—stumbling through this thing
called life with two impressionable daughters watching his every move.
When Gina and Jeffrey meet while cruising the Caribbean,
sparks fly and not in a good way. He’s too old. Too blond. Too stiff. Yet she’s
still drawn to him like a moth to a flame. She’s too vulgar. Too sassy. Too
wild. But she ignites something inside of him he can’t ignore.
We all know what happens when you play with fire. . . someone’s bound to get burned.

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wonderfully written, laugh out loud hilarious, fantastic dialogue, and heartfelt emotions - this one has it all. Jeffrey and Gina are so good together. Mr Straight-laced CEO and the sassy sex therapist somehow balance each other out and it just works and makes for some fun, steamy times. In addition to our lovable main characters, we have friends who don't care to call it like they see it, some teenagers dealing with hormones and getting into a bit of trouble to keep the grownups busy, and a couple of toddlers that kept me in stitches with their questions and observations. So, we have a couple that is just so darn good together, you have to root for them, plus loads of other quirky characters that are every bit as interesting as our couple. Then, we have the comedy side of this one. I was laughing from the first chapter and the more I read, the harder I laughed. It's a great blend of slapstick, sass, and sarcasm, but the beauty of it is it's done so well that even during the emotional times - yes, there are some of those - there's the perfect amount of levity to keep things from getting too heavy. From start to finish, this one is everything a great romantic comedy should be.
