As a lowly member of the Primrose Hill pack, Mark Appleton isn’t used to having his alpha’s attention. Lately he’s had more than his fair share, and not for the right reasons. Despite growing suspicions that all is not well, Mark tries hard to do better, but constant criticism leaves him desperate for a stress outlet.
Sex is a good way for shifters to let off steam, and while their packs attack each other with accusations and lies, Alec and Mark work out their frustrations in bed. Pillow talk and shared secrets lead to a closeness neither was expecting, but when pack relations reach an all-time low, any future for them seems out of the question.
If they want to be together, they’ll have to go against their alphas’ wishes—except Alec won’t and Mark can’t.

This third Regent's Park Pack story picks up right where book two left off and the author has certainly pulled out all the stops. While each book focuses on a different couple, there's been an underlying story of rival packs, rogue shifters, and danger from the beginning. All of that absolutely blows up during Alec and Mark's romance. The love story between this pair is pretty straightforward - hot enough to set the curtains on fire, but straightforward. The attraction and chemistry are there in spades and we don't get all that back and forth that was so prevalent in the first two books. Rival packs or not, Mark and Alec want what they want. However, that underlying story moves into high gear and it is intense and gritty, keeping me on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next. With the way this one ended, it does have me wondering about where the next installment of the series will go. Nevertheless, I've become invested in these characters, and I'm really hoping to see Cam find his mate. I absolutely love that alpha! Since this is a continuing story, I would recommend starting at the beginning, but it is so worth it.
