A detective who has given up on men and a rock star who doesn't do relationships. Not exactly a match made in heaven. In fact, this pair does more butting heads than anything else for most of this quick read. However, the chemistry and attraction are certainly present. In addition to a shifter romance, we get a bit of danger by way of Elena's job, and nothing brings out romantic feelings like perilous circumstances. All in all, another engaging read in the series.
