Angel Revelation
The Gatekeeper Book 1
by Mary Abshire
Wanted for murder. Needed to save mankind.
The Great Reckoning changed everything. The gates opened and unleashed angels, demons, and banished all magic that hid the supernatural. Technology stopped working. Leaders disappeared. Chaos ensued. Life today is nothing like it was twenty-five years ago.
For several years, demons haven’t caused much trouble in my city. Everyone thinks they’re planning something. Soldiers comprised of werewolves, vampires and other supernatural creatures work with angels to protect us and maintain order while the rest of us struggle to survive. Although I’m a hybrid vampire, I thought I was like everyone else trying to preserve some semblance of civilization in our crazy, messed up world.
Then I found out I was different. I’m the last of my bloodline, and I can make a huge difference in the war between Heaven and Hell.
Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Angels, demons, supernatural creatures, and humans in a post-apocalyptic world in this newest series by Mary Abshire. The fight between good and evil isn't a new one, but this series brings some originality to the table, including some surprising allies. Our heroine, Alex, has to figure out who she can trust, and she has to do it on the fly since it seems that both sides want her and she doesn't even know why. World building is done organically throughout this first in the series and introduces some key players while maintaining a fast pace and some sit up and take notice action. This is the start of the series, so expect a cliffy, and this one leaves us hanging in more ways than one. I can't wait to see what's next for these wonderful characters and their entertaining and intriguing world.
