Blurb

Family is number one; whether they are blood related or patched in.

At thirteen-years-old, the bastard son of an asshole who wanted me to fail, I learned that lesson.

Thanks to one man.

Liam Walker raised me, taught me how to be an adult, and loved the hell out of my mother, me, and my sisters. He funneled my anger into productiveness when teenage me lost the love of his life. Because of him, I knew how to love her when she came back. His dedication to me and my sisters was the example I needed when my twins were born.

Tracing his footsteps may not have been my birthright, but him turning over the president patch to me is what I’ve waited for since I was thirteen. Calm, cool, and collected – that’s how he ran The Heaven Hill MC – and it’s how I’ve run it too.

Until now.

Ambushed on our own streets. Fighting an enemy we didn’t know we had. Innocent people hurt all because of a misguided sense of entitlement.

The difference between me and Liam? I have anger I’ve held back, kept my emotions under control for half my life, been the loving man I’m supposed to be, but for this piece of shit who threatened us? I’m about to unleash something he’s never seen before.

My fury.

Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fury is a fast-paced, high-octane read from start to finish. This one doesn't have the typical romance angst that we usually see since Drew and Charity are solid from the start. What it does have is a steadily building tension as everything and everyone they care about are threatened. Even with the ever-present danger, this married with children couple are still just as attracted to each other and just as in love as they've always been, and that shines through as Drew and Charity make time for each other. Despite this being an established couple, Laramie Briscoe does give us some steamy fun and witty banter along with some sweet family time. And somehow, we still get a crazy lot of suspense and danger leading up to an oh, so dramatic conclusion. Fury is a hard to put down, edge of your seat, thrill ride of a story that still manages to be a sweet and sexy romance. Another winner by this author.

Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don't read a lot of MC romance, but being a Kentucky girl, I couldn't resist a series set around Bowling Green. It's not exactly a stone's throw from me but darn close. Hurricane gives us a second chance for Tatum and Remy, and I'm a sucker for second chances, so it didn't take me long to start rooting for this couple. We also get the added bonus of a sort of enemies to lovers story with Tatum and Remy since she's been mad at him for the past year. The story is emotional and even heartbreaking at times, especially when it dips into Remy's childhood. It's also equally heartwarming as this pair finds their footing with each other. I have to say I loved Remy's idea for getting his foot in the relationship door with Tatum. There is some danger to deal with, but most of the story revolves around the romance, which is equal parts sweet, sexy, and swoon-worthy. Remy and Tatum are like pieces of the same puzzle. They have their differences, but they still just fit. This is the first book in a spin-off series, but I had no trouble figuring everyone out and following the story. I like that the author gives enough backstory to avoid confusion without getting into info dump territory. And after meeting this wonderful group of characters, I'm hooked, so will be checking out that earlier series.

Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

This second in the Heaven Hill Generations series runs along the same timeline as book one, but this one is Addie's story. Oh, and Wilder, let's not forget Wilder. It's impossible not to fall for Wild as he and Addie get to know each other. He's a little broken, a whole lot sweetheart, and absolutely lovable. Addie is a bit of hot mess as she avoids her issues with her past, and of course, Laramie Briscoe gives us all the feels, especially when it all comes crashing down around her. One of my favorite things about this series is the feeling of family within the MC and their desire to help those in need. Another is the characters - Naturally, our romantic couple is front and center, but even the secondary characters practically leap off the page. Like the first book, there is some danger for our characters to get through, and this one leaves us with some questions and possibly more danger to come for the MC. All in all, Wild is a solid addition to an already addictive series, and a couple that I couldn't get enough of.
