A Gift to Remember
Memorable Gifts Book 1
by Mary Abshire
One man. Two women. A birthday surprise he will never forget.
Carol has spent the last five years working as an assistant for her boss, Thomas Barrett. She enjoys her job, and is a good friend to his wife, Lynn. Every year Lynn asks Carol for assistance in obtaining a gift for Thomas’s birthday. With his big fortieth arriving in a week, Carol expects she’ll need to snoop around the office for Lynn. To Carol’s surprise, Lynn already has an idea for Thomas’s present, and it’s one he will never forget.
Lynn invites Carol to join her and Thomas in a menage a trois. Although shocked, Carol considers such a rare opportunity to broaden her sexuality. But if she joins her boss and his wife in the bedroom, will Carol be able to continue a relationship with them? Moreover, can she keep her job working for Thomas?
Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐
Holy Hotness! What a way to start a series! A Gift to Remember is a fast-paced erotic romance with engaging characters and a fun storyline. One of my biggest pet peeves in this genre is the lack of a storyline, but that isn't a problem here. The story is novella length, and it certainly has plenty of sexy, but it has a fun story for characters that are likable and interesting. The characters have chemistry, both as a trio or paired off, and they just fit together. This menage is female/female/male, so Lynn and Carol are as likely to be together as either of the women are to be with Thomas, and there is the beginning of a relationship here, including the trepidation and insecurities that could come with a polyamorous relationship. The writing flows and pulls you in, the characters keep you turning pages, and the sexy fun is hot enough to peel the paint from the walls. This is a great book for bedtime or lighting a few candles, relaxing, and enjoying some "me time."
