Award-Winning Author Deborah Garland presents a new paranormal series starting with Drawing Bloodlines about a vampire who takes a chance on love after a lonely century, only to be forcibly mated with a ruthless vamp from his dark past.
The TBR Pile said, it's "sure to heat your blood," and The Romance Reviews was "drawn into this new paranormal vampire world."
Dr. Alexander Manning's vampire allegiant demands loyalty and secrecy. Keeping their existence hidden from humans is the Prime Directive. So when he accidentally reveals himself to a woman, a beautiful woman he can't resist, he's forced to make a choice: report her to his commander or 'deal' with her himself.
Both Alex's loyalty and secrecy are tested.
Elizabeth should be afraid of tall, handsome, god-like Alexander, who she's figured out is a vampire. Knowing he'll come for her, she prepares for the worst and even considers sending her daughter away to live with her ex.
Alexander shows up, not to harm her though. To seduce her. Nights of unending pleasure however take a very serious turn, neither was expecting.
Until Alex's past catches up to him and threatens to destroy his precious secretive world with Elizabeth and loyalty to her and her adorable seven-year-old daughter.
Will Alex obey his allegiant commander and submit to a woman he hates, or fight?
Never force a vampire to mate...
The Princeton Allegiant Series features a recurring cast of hot and sexy vampires, but each book can be read as a stand-alone. No cheating. No cliffhanger.
Alexander:
After a set of passing headlights from the street below moves across Elizabeth's bedroom, I step inside. Her bed faces two tall windows covered in delicate floor-length drapes that probably billow softly in summer breezes. My back straightens, stiff and rigid when I see her slender sleeping body, fully clothed, laid out over the covers—a sign of extreme exhaustion. I don’t sense any lingering fear, however.
Only desire.
But for what?
For whom?
A soft step closer, I notice she’s wearing the skirt and blouse from earlier today. My scent must still cling to the fabric.
Her hair cascades off the side of the bed like a golden waterfall. It wears away my resolve and draws me closer to her.
Against my better judgement, I reach out to touch the soft, silky strands. What must it feel like to be twisted around my fingers while I’m behind her, her ass pressed firmly up against me. The thought of what is underneath her skirt makes my cock throb.
Not good.

Never steal a vampire's mate.
What's the world's most dangerous vampire to do when the only woman he's ever loved is about to be abducted? He strikes a devil's bargain, but Loren Tagaris is done playing nice.
Loren's gifts for destruction have made him the most feared vampire on the planet. To bargain for his progeny's freedom, he's forced to bend the knee to the precious New York Vampire Lords and find their missing commander in thirty days. Or hand Julianna, who's part witch, over forever.
Julianna's powers are more dangerous than Loren ever imaged. When their hunt for the missing commander unearths a buried secret that terrifies even Loren, all bets are off, and it's every vampire for himself. Suddenly the Lords abducting Julianna is the least of their problems.
Will Loren give up his own freedom once and for all to protect the allegiant world even if it means losing Julianna forever?
"Guarding Bloodlines and The Princeton Allegiant series is a refreshing twist on a vampire world which delivers on action-packed, deliciously sexy, fun reading that will have you turning the pages." - Jennifer Bray-Weber, Award-Winning Author
Loren Tagaris turned someone who hadn’t turned. Now the New York Lords considered her a rogue. The vampire directive to stay hidden was one of the rules he didn’t have a problem with. Yet, he sent a half-human/half-vampire out into the world.
Running around. Running from him. From the New York Lords. For three centuries, he let it go. Let her go. He had his own life to live. Women to fuck. Veins to drink from. Julianna ran off. That was her problem.
Yeah, that’s what he told himself, but never really believed it. Any time he’d gotten wind of where she was he’d send her the same message:
We do not destroy what is ours.
No response. Every damn time.
Realizing he needed to relax and play nice to get what he came for, Loren backed up.
“Go on, Loren.” Giordan’s shoulders relaxed, the grip on his dagger loosened.
Who he’d use it on was unclear.
Loren nodded politely to the one reasonable Lord he would spare, even guard his throne personally if Giordan were to survive the uprising Loren could feel coming. “As I was saying—”
“Do you have plans to mate with this woman?” Hamish asked.
Crap. “I uh . . .” His jaw trembled.
“You say she’s one of us. A vampire. She can be taken to mate. Do you not want her?” Giordan added.
He wanted to bed her all right. But mate with her? Vampires mated for life and forever, unless something terrible happened. They were also forbidden to mate with humans. And most vamps despised him, so mating for life had never been a consideration. Falling in love fell into that same category. Not happening.
“Pity, you can’t get her to submit to you.” Samson licked his dark red lips. “You make us doubt your powers, Loren.”
“Oh yeah?” He released his hands and shook one of his wrists.
The blast of fire created a hole in the wall behind him. He glanced at the smoke and then back at the Lords. Stepping into a shimmer of light created by a burning lamp, he let the Lords see the fire in his eyes. Orbs that could send a bolt of lightning into their thick skulls.

VAMPIRES DON’T DATE. THEY POSSESS.
Award-Winning Author Deborah Garland is back with an all new steamy vampire romance in Matching Bloodlines, an angst-fest about a vampire in search of a new mate and the matchmaker he hires who ignites decades of unmet needs and passion…only she’s off-limits.
Never match a vampire with the wrong mate…
Nothing could have prepared Francisco St. Claire for living as a single male after centuries of being mated. The serious and scary Commander of the Princeton Allegiant is now heartbroken and that makes him one dangerous vampire. Still, he has an allegiant to run and there is trouble on his borders.
When the ruling lords demand he hire a matchmaker to find a new mate for himself as well as the other males who have sworn to him, the loyal commander follows orders but vows he’ll never love again.
Princeton Matchmaker, Charlotte Kincaid is drowning in debt. She’s so desperate for cash, she agrees to work for a mysterious rich businessman requesting a ‘mate’, who just happens to be a vampire. If only this intoxicating Frenchman with the most sensuous lips she’s ever seen wasn’t her client.
Since meeting Charlotte, Francisco’s emotions and senses have awoken, including his primal need for a woman’s body against his. But if he takes Charlotte to mate and turns her, she can’t find matches for the rest of his vampires.
Will the Princeton Allegiant Commander show his strength by mating with the woman he craves or will he continue to follow orders?
The Princeton Allegiant Series features a recurring cast of hot and sexy vampires, but each book can be read as a stand-alone. No cheating. No cliffhanger.
“Thank you for meeting me, Francisco. I’ll get right to business. We are once again permitting vampires to turn humans,” Loren Tagaris, newly anointed New York Lord said to the commander of the Princeton Allegiant. “For mating purposes only.”
The news shocked Francisco. With every other policy, process, or political crap, though, he always thought about his allegiant first. Except decades of pushing away his own needs had left Sophia empty and unhappy.
This was a positive development for the vampires in his command, though. Unmated males were a pain in the ass. “I am quite impressed you are willing to put such a policy into action.”
For so long, the New York Vampire Command had taken the innate pleasure of siring a progeny away from vampires. The previous regime, four very old, very stubborn, very out-of-touch vampires could not be reasoned with for decades.
Their population had to be kept low in numbers and the less interaction with humans the better. Humans would no doubt eradicate vampires from the planet.
“I set up a meeting for us with someone who can help you,” Loren said, tapping away at his keyboard.
“Help me turn humans?” Francisco bared his fangs with a hiss. “I am quite capable of that. Although I have no intention of turning anyone.” Ever again.
“How are you doing by the way?” Loren sat back and eyed him with steady scrutiny. “Accepting the whole Sophia thing?”
“That’s my business.” He would never confess the hell he’d been going through dealing with Sophia choosing to stay in Philadelphia with Aiden.
“As one of the ruling Lords now, an erratic, unstable commander is my business.” Loren stood and strode toward him.
“Do I seem erratic and unstable?” Francisco’s chin drifted downward emphasizing the one inch of height he had above the wicked vampire.
“No. Like I said before, I like you, Francisco. My wife likes you. Things are finally secure for me. I may not have intended to mate with Julianna or become one of the New York Lords but . . .”
“But?”
“You just never know sometimes, Francisco.”
He backed away. “What is this meeting about then?”
“The other Lords and I have been doing some research. We need to have our vampires mate in a controlled setting.”
“Like a zoo?”
“No!” Loren scoffed in frustration. “You have how many unmated males in your command now?”
“I don’t keep track of such things.”
Loren growled and grabbed his iPad. After swiping and tapping the screen, he said, “By my count, you have seventeen. Eighteen including you.”
“Don’t include me.” He groaned inwardly, furious his allegiant’s demographics sat on a cloud server somewhere.
“Don’t you want your entire allegiant to know Sophia didn’t break you?” Loren’s question stung.
Had she broken him? Yanking the subject away from that dangerous edge, Francisco shot back with, “So just males?”
“Let’s start with the males and see how this works,” Loren said, pursing his lips together. “There’s a company right here in Princeton. I noticed the storefront a few times while checking in on Alexander. It’s a matchmaking agency.”
“Seriously? A matchmaker?” He dropped his hands.
“It’s exactly what we need.”
“With all due respect, this is a waste of my time. I know all of my vampires very well. When you make the official announcement, I will hold a council meeting and go over the parameters with them. Goodbye.”
It’d been centuries but Francisco remembered how vampires sired their progeny. It was visceral. Whether it was for a mate or for a companion or even a co-conspirator to fight with. Vampires chose a human based on gut-feelings and passion.
He turned to leave but the door slammed shut in front of him. Damn vampire and his powers.
Facing the Lord again, he said, “You know I can smash it down. It’s nice and looks rather expensive. I don’t want to ruin it.”
