She also runs into some danger and this time, the Council isn't taking anything lightly, which means she may get more alone time with one or the other of the guys than she's ready for. This third in the series gives us a few more tidbits to ponder as well as one whopper revelation right at the end, and like the first two books, this one leaves us hanging and wanting more. The story is told from Fiona's perspective, so basically, we're learning things as she does, and I feel about as anxious as our reluctant heroine to find out what's up with all the secrets. Each book is a quick, engaging read, and the suspense keeps the pages turning at high speed. Like its predecessors, this one is easily read in one sitting, which is good because the tension makes it hard to put down. So, Academy of Beasts III is a great addition to the series. My only complaint is that I wanted more of these fascinating characters, and I can't wait to see what's next.
