Once upon a time, there was a princess.

And he destroyed the wonderful life I built for myself.
As time passed, I came to see that Meyer had fears of his own. There was another devil much worse than him. Someone who would go to endless lengths to bring torment to both of us.
Somewhere along the line, Meyer started to show that he might not be brute I thought he was.
But when the time came to hold on, he let me go.
