I chuckled then sobered as a thought occurred to me. “You know, it has almost been twenty-five years since we were the Class of ’95.”
“What are you saying? Do you want another reunion?” His adorable brow furrowed as he leaned around me to catch my gaze.
“Nah.” I smirked at him. “I think we relived enough of our youth, don’t you? Our story found its happy ending.”
He smiled back, and his smile once again sent butterflies swarming through me. I’d never get tired of that feeling. “You’re right, sweet cheeks. It’s time the next couple of misfits find theirs.”
