My Review

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very early in Age of Ava, there's a description of Hunter from Ava's point of view - "...deep brown hair shot with silver..." And from that point, I was hooked. I do love a silver fox. Not that I wouldn't have been hooked anyway. That's been pretty much guaranteed whenever I pick up a Melanie Moreland book, so it was no surprise when this one was the same. I don't even pretend to lie to myself with that 'just a chapter or two' business, so when I cracked this book open, I knew chances were good it would be a pizza night. As for Ava and Hunter, this couple was everything I expected and more. The wit and humor were laugh-out-loud funny, and these two gave terrific banter. The chemistry was off the charts, and the feels? Well, the feels are all that and then some. Every couple I've read in this series has touched me in some way, but this one has a special place in my heart. Some of that is due to personal stuff that made relating to this couple so easy, and some can certainly be chalked up to the talented author who has quickly become an auto-read for me. Like the rest of the series, Age of Ava is a sweet and sexy romance, but it's also a story of family, friendship, and trust. Of building something together and finding your place in the world. This is absolutely a home is where the heart is kind of story, and its characters are like old friends I'm happy to visit with from time to time.

New York Times/USA Today bestselling author Melanie Moreland, lives a happy and content life in a quiet area of Ontario with her beloved husband of thirty-plus years and their rescue cat, Amber. Nothing means more to her than her friends and family, and she cherishes every moment spent with them. 

While seriously addicted to coffee, and highly challenged with all things computer-related and technical, she relishes baking, cooking, and trying new recipes for people to sample. She loves to throw dinner parties, and also enjoys traveling, here and abroad, but finds coming home is always the best part of any trip. 

Melanie loves stories, especially paired with a good wine, and enjoys skydiving (free falling over a fleck of dust) extreme snowboarding (falling down stairs) and piloting her own helicopter (tripping over her own feet.) She's learned happily ever afters, even bumpy ones, are all in how you tell the story.
