Her Viking Wolf is a thoroughly entertaining mix of wolf shifters, fated mates, time travel, and almost but not quite love triangle, and Vikings. Yep, Vikings, so I was pretty well hooked right there. The premise is about finding your fated mate no matter what time they're in. Of course, a bit of magic is what it takes to get there. I absolutely loved the time-traveling Fenris and the full of sass Chloe. They make such a good couple. As mentioned in the blurb, there's another alpha male in Chloe's life to complicate things, but too much would venture into spoiler territory, so I'll leave it at that. Theodora Taylor has penned quite the creative story with so many elements coming together, including some great characters. Clementine Dove narrates the book, and she gives a terrific performance, one that kept me listening late into the night. The story is fast-paced, engaging, and I loved the originality of it all. There isn't a cliffhanger but it is the beginning of a series, so I'll definitely be checking out more of this intriguing world.
