We're back with EJ and Bri, and just as I expected, Laramie Briscoe brings their journey to the - well, I don't want to say end because it's really not. Maybe right where they should be? However I say it, these two are so good together, and I love how firmly they stand together. They have some setbacks and some turmoil, but I feel like this is a pretty perfect conclusion to the trilogy. That's not to say I wouldn't read another Nashvegas book I so would because I'm thoroughly invested in these characters. This book gives us a few points of view in addition to EJ and Bri, and I really liked the inclusion of those chapters. It kind of rounded it all out for me. Platinum is a quick read, easily finished in an afternoon or evening, which is a good thing because that's exactly what I did. It's just right for curling up in your favorite chair and ignoring the rest of the world for a bit.
