✱✱Book Review✱✱ Always You by Claudia Burgoa

From USA TODAY Bestselling Author Claudia Burgoa comes a new emotional friends-to-lovers, small-town love story.

He promises love for a living.

But does he believe in happily ever after?

Nando is a self-proclaimed love expert.

Women believe he’ll deliver Mr. Right, and for the right price, he will.

Then there are the women who throw themselves at him, thinking he’s the one.

Who wouldn’t? He’s tall, delicious, and handsomely wealthy.

They think he’s perfect.

I know better.

There’s more beneath his irresistible charm and good looks.

He’s the guy who’ll fly across the country when things get too hard for me to handle.

He’s not only my three a.m. call, he’s my voice of reason.

He’s also my best friend.

I know all his secrets—even the ones that torment his heart.

Being in Luna Harbor with his family is torture.

When he asks me to help his family in their plans to rebuild the town.

I immediately say yes.

In exchange, I ask him to give me some dating lessons.

One kiss. Two hot nights and I can’t seem to stop wanting him.

Suddenly our friendship and my heart are at risk.

Should I extinguish the fire between us or see where this will take us?

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love Nando and Bri! Honestly, I think I would've loved Nando and Bri even if they'd just stayed best friends. These two are finish each other's sentences best friends. The kind you can call in the middle of the night, and they'll come running. That said, they are also an exercise in frustration at times, especially when they are so obviously in love and so completely obtuse about it. Of course, their slow-burn love story takes us back to Luna Harbor, which is always a treat. Small towns are always fun with their quirky characters, and Luna Harbor is one of my favorite small towns in the world of small-town romance. Claudia Burgoa's combination of wit and feels doesn't hurt either. From banter between family members to the antics Nando and Bri get up to, this one is thoroughly entertaining and just one more reason this author is on my list of go-to reads. If you haven't read the first two Luna Harbor books, you'll still be just fine as this is a standalone, but be warned - once you meet these characters, you'll want as much time as you can get in Luna Harbor.
