Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love a single dad romance. I mean, it's pretty much a guaranteed swoonfest, right? And Cameron is definitely swoony. He's also a little broken, and my heart broke for him. Whether you've been through his exact circumstances or not, it's not hard to relate to and understand his hesitance when it comes to relationships. With his love interest being his daughter's nanny, this is also kind of a forced proximity romance with the time they spend together for his little girl's sake. And Trinity! That little lady steals the spotlight every time she hits the page. Cam and Nat have some hurdles to jump, but for the most part, Combust is a quick, steamy read. Laramie Briscoe still brings the feels, and these two have a little bit of angst, but they're relatable and easy to root for. We also get a little sneak peek of what's to come next in the series, and it looks to be full of feels as well. All in all, Combust is nothing short of what I've come to expect from this author. It's engaging and entertaining, and it's a great way to while away an afternoon or evening.
