✱✱Book Review✱✱ The Vulture Fund by Jeff Buick

When a woman visiting Boston is brutally killed in a drive-by shooting it opens the door to a strange case involving a dead hedge fund billionaire and a connection to a village in faraway India.

At first, her murder appears to be a tragic accident – an innocent person in the wrong place at the wrong time. But as Curtis Westcott and his team at Boston Homicide dig in, they discover a link to the death of a wealthy and powerful financier. The case has Detective Aislinn Byrne chasing a dangerous lead in Mumbai, Stan Lamers going face-to-face with a violent suspect, and Bryan Cheung learning how deceptive a homicide investigation can be.

The Vulture Fund is the third book in the Curtis Westcott crime series, and it’s about money, motive, and murder. You know, the good stuff.

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm always excited to get my hands on a new Curtis Westcott crime thriller, and this third in the series doesn't disappoint. It's part procedural and part action thriller that takes us across the globe and back again. As things really get moving, there's no shortage of suspects, and it's an edge-of-your-seat, white-knuckling your Kindle thrill ride as Curtis, Aislinn, and their circle work to whittle down the suspect list. And that's all you're getting from me as far as details on the story. There will be no secrets exposed here - you'll have to read it to find out all the whats, whens, whos, and whys. As always with Jeff Buick, the book is wonderfully written, and the mystery is superbly crafted. If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting these intriguing characters, you'll want to correct that as soon as possible. Trust me, you won't regret it.
