Suspenseful, sultry, and shocking. Blood, Sweat, & Desire is packed full of all three, and it is one crazy twisted ride. We have three couples and a couple of extras to consider, and that includes the detective investigating the murder. Now, in most cases, I'd put the detective out of mind as far as suspects go, but this is a Britney King thriller, so everyone gets looked at with a critical eye. Not that it does any good, mind you, and not that I'm gonna venture any further into it. The reason for that is twofold. First, I try to avoid spoilers whenever possible. The second reason is purely selfish on my part because everyone should get to experience this book as I did - with all the questions and guesses that go along with the fast-paced, twisty road the story takes. What I will say is trust no one and suspect everyone because they all have a secret or two; some are just darker than others. The book is everything I've come to expect from Britney King, and it's just one more reason why she's one of my favorite thriller authors. If you enjoy psychological thrillers that thoroughly mess with your mind, you don't want to miss this one.
