✱✱Book Review✱✱ Rebel Revenge by Elle Thorpe

"You may now kiss your bride."

They were the last words my mother heard before she collapsed on the church steps, poison ending her pitifully short life.

When her new husband dies minutes later, all eyes turn to me.

There are whispers. Accusations. The verdict is split.

I murdered them both.

Or I'm the next to die.

To catch a killer, I move myself into my new stepbrother's house in the fancy town of Providence. With its million-dollar mansions and ocean views, it's a far cry from the seedy Saint View underbelly I grew up in.

But my new life delivers more than I ever could have bargained for and three men I never saw coming.

Fang, the biker gang enforcer everyone is terrified of. Everyone, but me. When he finds the bruises I've been hiding, he swears to stand by my side while I have my revenge on the men who hurt me.

Vaughn, my cocky new stepbrother. The way he looks at me is anything but brotherly. With half his dad's fortune left to me, we might both be searching for the murderer, but he's my prime suspect.

And Kian, my new roommate and Vaughn's enemy. The streetfighter is funny and sweet, but violence darkens his eyes when he hears about my past. Hiding secrets of his own, he joins the hunt.

With every lie we uncover, every secret we expose, the danger mounts.

Until there's only one thing we know for sure.

The killer is still out there.

And we're his next targets.

Rebel Revenge is an adult, #whychoose romance, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This book contains romantic suspense and dark themes that may trigger some readers. It is the first book in an ongoing trilogy.

Momma Says: 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just when I think I'm gonna run out of ways to say Elle Thorpe's newest release is a must-read without pretty much having it on repeat, she goes and does this! I mean Holy Wow! I fully expected Rebel's first book to be good - it wouldn't be an Elle Thorpe creation otherwise - but this is one seriously good book. If you're familiar with Elle's books and have read the Psychos trilogy, and you've met Rebel and Fang, then you'll have an idea of how much sass can come out of one tiny woman. If you're new to Elle Thorpe or even just the Saint View world in general, you'll still be able to jump right in with Rebel's story. That said, you should know going in that Elle's characters practically leap off the page, and the more of them you meet, the more you want to know.
This trilogy is an MMFM, so Rebel gets all the goodies. Well, she gets most of the goodies. It's looking like she's gonna have to share a bit with Vaughn and Kian. Anyway, we get to meet the main players in Rebel's story, both good and bad, but the romance focus is on Rebel and Fang. They have such good chemistry, and Fang is a total swoon-fest. I love it when the big tough guys are such teddy bears when their heart is involved, and Fang is just the sweetest big tough guy with Rebel.
I'll stop there and leave the rest to be discovered (including that cliffy!). I loved this visit to Saint View, and I can't wait to see what's next for these characters.
