A little steam, a little fun, and a friends-to-lovers second chance romance. I love a second chance, and Ray worked so hard for his. Honestly, if he hadn't gotten his second chance, that would've been the only way I wouldn't have liked this one. Val had to get out of her own way a bit, but I found myself rooting for this couple pretty quickly, and I loved their location. The Vagabond Series has been all about travel, and since I didn't get to do that this year, I've had to live vicariously through the characters. Val and Ray rank pretty high on that list, and this may be my first time reading Leigh Adams's work, but I'll be watching for more.
