If I'm gonna kick off the holiday season, I may as well set the bar high for the rest and read a holiday romance by Claudia Burgoa. Christmas in Kentbury is a novella, but in true Claudia Burgoa form, there's a lot of story packed between those covers. Landon and Lee are lovable characters, both together and separately, and their chemistry is off the charts. It might take a hot minute for Lee to be convinced, but wow, are these two good together. Also true to form, Claudia gives us some terrific secondary characters, the kind I can't wait to see more of as the Kentbury Tales progresses. This first in the series is full of heart, terrific characters, a charming town, and of course, Claudia Burgoa's wit and humor.

Teddy Hamilton and Muffy Newtown give terrific performances in this book. I've listened to both of these narrators many times, and they never disappoint. Hamilton and Newtown capture all the feels - from the friendship to the aha moments for both characters to the steamy goodness. All the gooey stuff Claudia Burgoa put into this one, plus all the well-timed wit comes through in spades. If you're looking for a Christmas romance that will put a smile on your face, I recommend this one.
