Here we are at book 2 in Laura Pavlov's Magnolia Falls series, and I'm thoroughly invested in this town and its inhabitants. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite romance tropes. I love that thin line between love and hate and the fire that goes with it, and this pair lives up to the trope spectacularly. River and Ruby have great chemistry. Whether they're butting heads or falling all over each other, the fireworks fly. This author paints such vivid pictures with her words. From the setting to the characters, I feel like I've visited Magnolia Falls, and I can't wait to go back. I only found Laura Pavlov's books in the last few months, but I'm definitely a fan. She has quickly become a must read for me, and I'd highly recommend any of her books, this one most definitely included.
